Design and Marketing in the Boston Area — Metro9
Metro9 is a bold rehabilitation of an historic, century-old storage facility in Somerville, Massachusetts. Developed by Berkeley Investments and marketed by The Collaborative Companies, Great Island Design provided design and marketing in this Boston area project including all creative services and branding, starting with a new name to support the properties metamorphosis from apartments to luxury condominiums. The visual brand is strong and urban and reflects the blend of industrial chic and cosmopolitan lifestyle that are unique to this property.

Metro9
GID named the project as well as created the Metro9 Logo. Dynamic logo elements were used in developing the design style in the Metro9 website as well as all print collateral.
GID created a marketing website for the condominiums at 9 Medford Street near in Somerville, MA. The site is designed to appeal to professionals, artists and graduate students with an emphasis on the vibrant Somerville amenities.
GID created a custom video loop for the Metro9 sales center which conveyed a high-energy, lifestyle storyline based on Somerville’s dynamic amenities.
GID created a 12-page brochure with pocket for Metro9 to promote their luxury condominiums in Somerville, MA. The brochure focused on area and onsite lifestyle amenities as well as the industrial chic elements emphasized in the condo features themselves. It also told the story of the unique support for local artists via studio space and displays of their work.
GID designed the new Metro9 entry sign utilizing industrial chic styles which reflect the history of the original building.
GID created large-scale building signage to direct potential buyers to the website and sales office.
